Refund and Returns Policy

I want you to love your purchase. My aim is to create quality and long lasting products, and for you to feel like I’m here for you for as long as you own the product. Please contact me at sharon@madebyessie.com if you have an issue or question about your item.

Below is a general guideline on my Refund and Returns Policy. If you don’t feel like this answers your questions, or applies to your case, please contact me at sharon@madebyessie.com.

Refunds & Exchanges:

If you decide the item is not for you, you may return the item within 14 days of receipt for a refund or exchange. Item must be in original condition and unused.

Shipping costs are not refundable except in some cases (i.e damaged, incorrect item, or not as described)

If your item arrives damaged, or not as described I will exchange the item at no additional cost to you. Please send photos to sharon@madebyessie.com to make an exchange claim. (I may ask you to return the damaged/problematic item, in which case I will provide a printable return label.)

Once your return is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item.

If your refund/exchange is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at sharon@madebyessie.com.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

General shipping info for returns/exchanges:

To return your product, please contact me and return shipping address will be provided.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to arrive may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
